There is a particular quality to coastal light that I have never been able to leave alone.
Bright silver on still water. The way it seeps through a breaking wave. The quiet drama of a marina at dusk that stays with you long after you've driven home. These are not places I copy - they are places I breathe in, fill myself with, and then carry back to the studio as memories and impressions.
What ends up on the canvas is never the location itself. It is the feeling of being there. The light that stayed with me.
