There is a scale to the Scottish landscape that stops you in your tracks - vast skies, ancient mountains, and a light that shifts from silver to gold within minutes. These paintings attempt to hold something of that drama and stillness: the Highlands, the glens, the lochs, and the long empty roads that lead into the hills.
