Winding Roads
A long drive north, and the Highlands in full autumn colour
This painting was born from a journey - venturing further north from a base in the Scottish Highlands, taking the long road to explore the landscape around Loch Ard. The kind of drive where you keep stopping because the view keeps changing, and every bend in the road reveals something more beautiful than the last.
What stayed was this - the winding roads threading through the hills, and the vegetation on either side burning with the amber and gold of autumn. The Highlands in this season have a particular intensity of colour, as if the landscape is making the most of the light before winter arrives. This painting holds that moment, that road, and that extraordinary palette.

Collecting original art
Owning an original painting means owning something no one else in the world has. This piece was painted entirely by hand by Marta Stolarska - every curve of the road observed, every shade of autumn amber considered with care. It arrives framed.
Winding roads, amber hills, and the Scottish Highlands in their most glorious autumn colour - a painting made from a journey worth taking.
