This print began as a watercolour painting made after a family trip to Kenilworth - one of England's most romantic and storied ruins, seen here from the main entrance path, just as visitors have approached it for centuries. The original watercolour sold. But the image - the castle emerging from the landscape, the particular quality of light that watercolour captures so beautifully - was too good to leave behind entirely.

A note on limited editions

Once all 50 prints of a size are sold, that edition is closed permanently. No further prints will be made from that size. Each print is individually hand signed and numbered by Marta Stolarska - a genuine collector's piece from an artist whose original watercolours sell out on arrival.

Every print is produced by hand in the artist's Suffolk studio, on a professional Epson fine art printer using six archival inks. No print factory, no third party - just the artist, the paper, and the printer.
