There is a kind of strength that doesn't announce itself. It simply is. This woman has it - in the set of her shoulders, in the high white collar that frames her face with quiet authority, in the blue eyes that look away not from shyness but from the weight of something felt. Her dark hair carries light in it, small reflexes that speak of careful observation. Her skin glows with the warmth of someone fully alive. And then there is the earring.
