Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, seen from Edmund Street - a watercolour moment, preserved in a limited edition of 50

This print began as a watercolour painting that sold before it barely had time to breathe - one of a series of Birmingham scenes painted from life that found collectors almost immediately. The original is gone. But the image was too good to leave behind entirely, and so it returns here, in a limited edition of just 50 prints, made to the highest archival standards.

The view is from Edmund Street - that particular angle that gives you the quiet view of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, one of the city's most beloved and beautiful buildings. In watercolour, the medium lends the scene a quality of light and atmosphere that photography rarely captures - the softness of the sky, the warmth of the stone, the sense of a city going about its day in the presence of something magnificent.

Printed on 230 GSM Fine Art Archival Matt paper with Claria Photo HD inks, this is a print made to last - the colours stable, the detail preserved, the paper substantial and beautiful in the hand. Each print is hand signed and numbered by Marta Stolarska.

A note on limited editions

Once all 50 prints are sold, this edition is closed permanently. No further prints will be made from this image. Each print is individually hand signed and numbered by Marta Stolarska - a genuine collector's piece from an artist whose original watercolours sell out on arrival.

Every print is produced by hand in the artist's Suffolk studio, on a professional Epson fine art printer using six archival inks. No print factory, no third party - just the artist, the paper, and the printer.
